How to set up the WebEngage integration

Generate your FirstConnectt API key

Log in to the FirstConnectt dashboard and create an API key for your WhatsApp Business API, RCS, or SMS sender. New to the platform? Our onboarding team provisions your account and verified sender identities first.

Add FirstConnectt as a channel in WebEngage

Open WebEngage's channel or integration settings, select FirstConnectt (or a custom connector) as your messaging provider, and enter your API credentials.

Sync your approved message templates

WhatsApp and RCS templates approved on FirstConnectt flow straight into WebEngage, letting campaign builders select them right inside the journey editor.

Build journeys and map your events
